In the his newest South Carolina ad, John Edwards reaffirms his commitment to honoring and fighting for America's true heroes -- the working men and women of South Carolina. The ad features footage of Edwards speaking at a campaign event interspersed with images of hardworking Americans -- including plant worker Mike Evatt of Seneca, Dr. James Blassingame of Sumter and soul food restaurant owner Martha Grant.

There are only two candidates that a progressive/liberal can vote for--John Edwards and Dennis Kucinich.
Saying that, I don't believe Kucinich can get elected as he doesn't have a broad enough base. John Edwards is the only one that Progressives and Liberals need to support. Unfortunately, however, neither will get elected as the Progressive vote will be split between both Edwards and Kucinich.

WAKE UP EVERYONE, KUCINICH IS GREAT, BUT SUPPORT EDWARDS WHO IS ELECTABLE AND HE WILL BRING KUCINICH'S VOICE INTO THE WHITE HOUSE ALONG WITH THE MAN.

Maybe it is the way they seem to include a mention of Elizabeth Edwards health condition in every campaign ad.

I don't see what is the relevancy to John Edwards reasons for running for President of the US.

Is he saying that if his wife was not sick, he would not be running for President?

Or maybe he would still be running - but on a different platform? :eyes:

I mean - they wouldn't be mentioning that as a way of manipulating our emotional response.

Surely not? :eyes:

13. John has been in the race for a while

but when Elizabeth got the news that her cancer was back (or still there, I don't know all the details), they had to make a choice - keep going with their plan that he would run for president or drop out and choose a different path for the end of their days. ( I say "their", because we are all going to die sooner or later). John shows in this great ad what a truly humble and selfless person he is. I love how he says that he and Elizabeth are not heroes, and then shows the faces of average Americans that he believes are heroes.

This is a great ad!
