1. gotta luv John Mellencamp

He is a true American singer. I have been leaning towards John Edwards more and more. I would love to see and Edwards/Obama ticket the best of both worlds.

3. hell, i'd love to see an edwards/mellencamp ticket

i could see mellencamp sitting in the oval office across from edwards, his cowboy boots perched up on the desk. he'd take a last long drag off of a shrinking cigarette before crushing it against the bottom of one of his boots and squinting a little as he looked up at edwards, after blowing the last bit of smoke out of the side of his mouth, he'd say "yeah, john, i think you're right, let's send the whole bush administration to gitmo".
