3. no same plan...
Her "plan of personal responsibility" is similar to state laws that "require" you to have Automobile insurance.

I'm sure not a single person from DU has ever been involved in a collision with someone in one of those states with an uninsured motorist have they?? (sarcasm) And of course the next question if what about the enforcement and penalties for people who don't buy in (you know single mother of 3 working 2 jobs going to jail because she didn't take personal responsibility? I don't know - but I would love to learn what she thinks is a good idea.

Secondly and perhaps more importantly: I have healthcare already. Thats not my problem. The problem is when my wife went to get her yearly checkup and they did the labs on her to check her cholesterol blood sugar levels etc etc... just normal blood work our insurance refused to pay; and it took over 1 year to get them to pay for the blood work (a covered item). What I'm seriously afraid of is that we will actually become seriously ill one day; and waiting a year for treatment (because our organization refuses to pay for early services and then the Dr refuses to see us until they get paid) could result in an untimely death or other illness related conditions that were unnecessary if we had a system that just covered everyone and every thing!

So Hillary; does your "personal responsibility" plan require the health care organization to cover everything every time? Or can they deny coverage because its "experimental" or other lame excuses still?

peace friends ; lets hope we get a good one in office we need it badly!

9. They are so removed for reality in DC
they can't see people can't afford food and shelter let alone health care. It is a cruel system for those who live on the public dole and then turn around leaving those who pay in the streets and in poverty.

4. People with low incomes..
will be covered as well. If they can't afford to pay for it, they will be covered under the plan anyway. Generally, people will pay what they can afford according to their income. Obama alluded to the MA Plan that fines people for not having coverage. It was disingenuous of him to infer a similar caveat is included in Hillary's Health Plan.

I read her Health Plan and saw no such thing such as fining people for not having coverage.

12. Neither Hillary or Obama have good plans
Americans demanded National Health Care for all in the 2006 election. Not insurance at a certain price, etc. Still they ignore us. How many elections do we have to endure before they listen? We want what the other developed countries in the world have.

5. I do not believe that a universal health care plan
that is not single payer, is worth a bucket of spit.

We need to demand that Dennis Kucinich be allowed into the debate, because his represents the only workable position among the candidates. Next is Edwards, whose plan admits that the insurance companies will compete at a disadvantage.

We need to stop the bullshit and flag waving and really do it.
It will be a whole new class of economic stimulus when 100% of Americans enter the Health Care System, particularly if we require 100% domestic content in labor and materials.

6. Believe what you want..
If you're that impatient, move to Canada, see how that works out for you.

Also, while you're there, ask them how long it took them to get Universal Health Care?

YEARS MY FRIEND, YEARS!

Unless we have a huge majority in the Senate, any HCP will get stalled in Congress.

Grow UP and start thinking like a responsible adult dealing in reality, rather than stamping your feet like a child wanting something "NOW" as if your demands will be answered because you WANT!

You have to wait just like the rest of us to get it done.
