1. Ledger really did turn in one of the great leading man performances of all time
A man torn between his two lives - Ledger's performance was phenomenal and brought the whole movie up a few notches - otherwise it would have been (to me) a relatively ordinary love story.

2. Absolutely agree

the morning after - riding the cliffs to the sheep and the expression on his face
hell - the riding was amazing too.

He gave so much in that movie.

3. Crying...
That was heart-wrenching.

Ennis and Jack - today's 'Romeo and Juliet'. A tragic and consuming love story for the ages.

Farewell, Heath. Thank you for giving us Ennis.

4. He belongs to the ages now
I had forgotten how much I was touched by Brokeback Mountain. What a fantastic performance. The movie was seared on the psyche of the American public, and due to no small part to Heath Ledger as Enis del Mar.

RIP

8. I got chills watching that. He and Jake were so amazing in
that movie. Heath really portrayed a torn man, and did it brilliantly.
