2. I see she is back to laughing at any tough questions.
But Keith called her on it.

It's a very annoying tactic by her, one that I thought she dropped quite a while ago.

7. Called her on it?
Really, I don't know through what kind of eyes Obamaniacs look at the world, but they certainly aren't the eyes of reality based individuals.

"Besides the laughter, what is your opinion".....yeah, he really nailed her to the wall on that one, didn't he? Obamaniacs see things that aren't there, and in most circles we have a name for people like that.

Obamaniacs have a childlike naivete about them. They're putting all of their eggs in Obama's "Hope Basket". Hope, plus 50 cents. will get me a newspaper in the morning. Translation for Obamaniacs: hope means nothing. I buy a lottery ticket and "hope" I'll win. Is that rational? Not by a long shot. The faithful "hope" there's really a god and that they'll be spending eternity on a fluffy white cloud in heaven. Is that "hope" rational? Again, not by a long shot. Hope is a feel-good emotion without any grounding in reality. And that's Obama's appeal; "hope". And the giddy little children line behind him up with their toy drums and party hats, en regalia. The "hope" parade. Not an ounce of substance to be found, but plenty of "hope".

3. jargon?
this women is nuts. People who don't see the calculation, the betrayal of ethics, the stink rising off of that women is nuts. She is not running a clean race, its not about who the american people want. She is in this to win it any way possible. If she can win by a technical foul so be it. If this women had to go to the supreme court to win the presidancy this women would do it.

6. Yeah she is very Bush like. I agree completely.
I always wished we had a George Bush of our own. NOT.

5. You can tell Olbermann doesn't think very highly of her tactics.
Yikes.

Matthews cracked me up, because it really sounded like he wanted to pound her, but then at the last minute he asks these benign questions.

I thought both of them dearly wanted to roll their eyes.

8. The Doors of Perception.....
what you perceived of Matthews and Olberman probably isn't reality based. Looking through the jaundiced, hopeful eyes of an Obamaniac doesn't reality make. Obama has been masterful at playing to people's emotions. I have to give him that. Anyone who can sell "hope" as a tangible asset is good. He's quite the salesman, probably better suited for a used car lot than the White House.

9. Yet you can look through the rose colored Clinton glasses
and find "hope" in the Clintons platform of Profit trumps Health Care, Profit trumps Domestic Jobs, Power trumps peace. From NAFTA, Iraq Sanctions, Welfare reform, Repeal of Glass-Steagall, IWR, Kyl-Lieberman and the Patriot Act, their lust for wealth and power comes at the cost of American's health, lives and freedoms. Not to mention the millions of Iraqis that have died from the Clinton's actions.

Cognitive dissonance. Not just for republicans anymore.

13. I haven't declared for any candidate.......
I just think the Obama "hope" message is just a little thin and lacks many tangibles. I've never said I was a Clinton supporter and would, in fact, have a hard time voting for her if she were our candidate for President.

I'm just not big into the "hope" thing. I wasn't when Bill Clinton used it during his campaign either. Like I always say, "hope, and 50 cents, will get me a newspaper in the morning". Meaning....hope is worthless. Obama plays on people's emotions, gets them all teary-eyed and sappy....gives them that warm, gooey feeling that makes people decide with emotions instead of logic. People like that turn me off. Tell it like it is, not as you "hope" it to be.

12. Hillary just sured up my vote...
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 01:03 PM by Limelight
Against her. This is just pathetic. Where was all this populist, every vote must count crap during the Michigan primary? What's that? She'd already won in NH so she didn't feel the need to fight for anyone's rights then? Oh, but she gets her ass handed to her in SC and now every vote needs to count and victory (in a race that nobody was running) needs to be heralded?

This tactic is made of glass so I have no clue how she figures no one can see through it, but if this and the "Every black guy is gonna win in South Carolina cuz the coloreds are too stupid to make a decision anything other than skin color" (I'm paraphrasing a bit, but we all know that's what he meant) comment is the best we have to look forward to from a new Clinton administration I don't want anything to do with it.
