Never liked this guy... til now!

The guy is one of my favorite actors, and his smile is priceless.

I'm just grateful he sees things the way I do, and not aligned with the far right Nazi party.

He ALMOST sees things the way I do -- I'm not supporting Hillary, but this spot deserves kudos!

I just thought it was odd. All the "characters" are pretty much villains.
Who'd want to be endorsed by these guys?
Then, I thought, but it's not really by Hillary's Campaign.
Then, I thought, but Jack did endorse Hillary.

So, now I'm just confused.
Because, darn... I really do love irony.
And maybe this one is just wasted on me?
Or am I campaign-fatigued and unable to see the joke?

A Few Good Men is one of my all time favorite films but when Jack made that crack in the movie, he was being sarcastic as hell about Demi Moore's character.

it's a good antidote to the Iron Maiden image Karl "Miss Piggy" Rove wants Hillary kept encased in -- pretty much explodes it, in fact. Karl must hate it.

... and those clips show why.

So how is it that you could take some of the smoothest quotes from this awesome actor and make it ... this? Well, the "money money money" was appropriate enough. I got a bit squirmy with the harmonica playing the Battle Hymn of the Republic one note at a time, and I nearly stopped the silly thing when the full band breaks into it.

But, for the love of God! "There's nothing sexier than a woman you have to salute in the morning"???!!! :wtf: I've had my ears boxed multiple time for saying anything that could be contrued even to the slightest degree as sexist or even gender specific when criticizing Hillary. But she's now trying to convince us that a female leader is somehow sexy?

I want everyone who smacked me for my "sexist" comments to give me an apology.

I don't think it said that Hillary did, unless the clip was cut off.

Oh, wait. I know -- gender-specific comments are not allowed only if they cast your person in a bad light. When it's possibly a compliment, it's okay, even if it is sexist.

Is everyone forgetting that Jack's character in "A Few Good Men" was a disgusting pig of a man?

His character was trying to emasculate the man, not pay tribute to the woman.

To me, it's a creepy spot.

The spot uses the actor PLAYING THE PART as the person DELIVERING THE MESSAGE.

It's a crappy spot and you all know it.

but knowing the context of those characters, makes the ad just one more 'kitchen sink' item to me and not a good one at that.

I don't think the context of the original statements in their movie settings have anything to do with this message. He's using lines that fit. And it was done very well.
