Chuck Todd gets the gallup numbers wrong again. Dems Ind Liberals all up

Todd's penchant for cherry picking polls and one item from a poll to reinforce a narrative continues to get him in trouble with the facts.

Just now on MSNBC Todd used a one time poll (from early February, before the President went on the offensive) that showed the President 44 vs 40 against an "unnamed Republican opponent" as evidence of "erosion of support by Democrats and Independents".

Gallups day by day poll shows that the Presidents' numbers have jumped up since that poll was released and have remained 50 to 43.

Breakdown by demographic groups on their week by week show that Democrats, Independents and Liberal Democrats all have INCREASED their support of the President, 100% contrary to what Todd is reporting.

(that I recall).

I certainly don't speak for "Lil Mike Steele (we really don't wish to claim him) but I have not spoken or heard about even one African American that is not a HUGE fan.

Even the Republicans that I know, die hard Republicans were wearing T- Shirts and so busy praising him,before and after the election.

Maybe that is why I am so shocked when I come to this Board.

On a daily basis all I hear is praise for him.
In fact, all I hear from my friends of other ethnic groups is praise for Obama.

That''s why reading DU Forums (other than BOG of course) is a huge shock to my system. It seems like I'm on another Planet.
