Bangor Obama Rally

Here are some pictures that I was able to get yesterday. We don't have the best camera. The man who was next to me had a great camera and said that he would share pictures if I let him share my spot. We were about 8 feet from the stage. I gave him my email, but well you know haven't seen any pictures yet. Who knows maybe I'll get some. Here are some of mine. I was able to shake his hand. He took the time to stop and shake the hands of two little girls who where sitting on the lap of a woman in a wheelchair in front of me. It looked to me like he kissed the top of their hands, but I was getting pushed from behind at that point by people who were trying to reach their hands over my head and did not get the best look. The little girls were so excited to be there. It was a great day!

I am leaving in a few minutes for the Obama rally in Virginia Beach, will hopefully have some pics later tonight.

Hopefully it is warmer there. I was on line for 3 1/2 - 4 hrs and then about 2 more inside. It was well worth the wait.

And I love your nick on DU. I think Sen. Obama will be fighting for your 3 sons and for my 2 kids as well as everyone else's.

There were a lot of kids there yesterday. Mine would not have made it through the 3 1/2 - 4 hr wait in the cold outside or the 2 hr wait inside. They would have driven people mad. I'm a little worried about bringing them to caucus today, but oh well. Most everyone knows them in our town. Surely we will not be the only people bringing kids.

Looks like a great time. Hope we get another win today!

I hope we do too! Getting the boys ready to go to caucus right now! My husband is at work, he's meeting me there.
