1. Computer blanked out on when I orignally posted this! NYT link on this story:

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/07/23/obama-urges-action-on-small-business-bill/

President Obama, fresh from his victory lap over Senate passage of a bill to extend unemployment insurance, called on lawmakers to finish work on a small-business jobs proposal that has been held up by partisan fighting.

“I hope we can now finish the job and pass the small business jobs plan without delay,” Mr. Obama said in a statement before reporters at the White House on Friday. “We can’t afford any more political games.”

Mr. Obama said that American voters “didn’t send us here to wage a never-ending campaign.” The bill would establish a $30 billion loan fund for small business owners.

The president is trying to wring as many bills as he can get out of this Congress before lawmakers disappear for the August recess, after which they will return in full mid-term election campaign mode, unlikely to get much more done.

Use to be repubs were famous for helping small businesses and now they're infamous for being deadweight deadenders.

Thanks for this QA.. Hooray for the small business owners across America~
