7. Which is another thing that totally fries my ass.
I've supported liberal and progressive issues and causes for many years, probably since before most of the loudest whiners were even born. And yet now I feel I have to "hide" in a safe forum to avoid being dogpiled by people who might find me insufficiently ideologically pure.

I do know when I'm not welcome, though, so I stay away, too. It's been made perfectly clear with all the name calling: cheerleader, water carrier, apologist, denier, DLCer, etc.

17. After seeing people defend the Taliban, nothing is surprising..
that was happening around Obama's Afghanistan speech. They were describing as reasonable the Taliban's insistence that we allow one of their mullah's to evaluate evidence against OBL. It was cringe-worthy.
