Al Gore looks like he's running for President on MSNBC.
He may say otherwise, but this guy looks like someone getting ready to run. He looks like he's lost some weight and he's wearing a blue tie. He's seems different than his prior interview on Countdown before.

Yep, he's running, or someone is getting a draft movement going for him.

10. yes I think he will.
He's gonna wait until the regular candidates have stuck their collective feet in their mouths, or been criticized unfairly or fairly for whatever the media can pick on them for. A lot of people are already tired of them for being too corporate.

And he's gonna wait and look like a fresh candidate. We know where he stands on a lot of issues and he's been right on ALL of them.

Please Please Please.....GORE/CLARK '08!!!

My dream ticket!!

8. I don't know that his running would be a good thing
Or rather the best thing. I mean I would find a president supporting his positions wonderful for the most part. But the thing is that being an elected official places limits on how you can reach people. Everything is tempered by what effects it has on your political pull. Compromise defines a politician.

Gore right now does not have to compromise. He can speak his mind. He is making a difference. If placed in office everything he says would be tarnished by politics.

11. Every time I start feeling so depressed about the state of our Country..
I start fantasizing that Al Gore is going to run for prez.. win (AGAIN!), and save us all. I just can't fathom knowing how many people would want me to run, and yet not run. For God's sake Al, it's bigger than just you at this point. Not trying to be dramatic, but the sake of the world, it's inhabitants, and the planet, rests upon WHO gets elected in 2008. I truly believe that Al Gore is the only one that can make a difference.. it's like people will expect him to be an environmental leader, a world leader, and someone to bail us out of this shit (economy, climate change, lack of peace process in the Middle East). I'm rambling.. sorry... I just feel so damn passionate abou it.

12. Exactly
If he announces now, the message behind his book won't be received with the same degree of attention. While
waiting (and he can wait), he can do a lot of good things and emerge at the perfect time. The Nobels, I believe,
are awarded in November. His mention of Halloween and Christmas leads me to think it'll be then.

13. PLEASE!
I hope he runs. I can't get excited about any of the current candidates for President. They are all a bunch of empty-suit corporatists.
