Fred Thompson bears an uncanny resemblance to the Creature from the Black Lagoon
Some people have been struck by Giuliani's resemblance to Nosferatu. I say: That's nothing compared to the similarity between Fred Thompson and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

7. Wasn't that Thompson's Hollywood debut?
They cast a young Fred Thompson in that low-budget picture as it saved them the cost of a costume.

12. grrrr
The Creature trilogy was my favorite group of films as a kid.

The Thompson comparison is an insult to make-believe gillmen everywhere.

20. That side-by-side is a keeper. I can imagine
Romney, Ghouliani, and McCain featuring it prominently in their ads.

21. Which one is which?
Please label the pictures. I'm not sure which one is which.

P.S. If I had to guess, I'd say the picture on the left is Thompson and the one on the right is The Creature (actually a rip-off creature in a movie with low production values).

Creature from the Black Lagoon was cool! He was the last of his kind and unique. Those jerks made a great creature extinct. Sorry, I've never gotten over him getting killed in the end. *sob*
