Who here would bet their lives that we won't have any national emergencies until 1-20-09?
Well, our Congress just bet the life of our country on it, by failing to respond to Bush's 5-9-07 directive that allows him to control all three branches of government in case of an emergency.

And who gets to declare such a state of emergency?

Junior will get everything he wants, if we have a "national emergency".

He's set that in stone.

serious side of the issue, I figure that's why the dub gave himself all that power in the first place. With hurricane season on it's way, he can't lose, marshal law and all that jazz, the perfect coup de grace.
