A co-worker said, "Bush has aged in office because he cares too much..."
Somebody pointed out a picture in the paper of Bush and said he really looks old, and our old reliable repuke co-worker piped in, "Bush has aged in office because he cares too much--about the war and about all those kids who die to defend the rest of us." I said, "If he really cared he would bring them home."

11. I don't know about that, alcohol is a great preservative.
He's aged because he's the devil's spawn, IMHO.

8. Good for you - that's what I say as well.
I tell them "Actions speak louder than words, and Bush's actions say he doesn't care about the troops."

When they come back at me, I ask them this:

"Your Grandmother is about to cross a busy intersection. She's old and doesn't move fast. There's a bus and a big garbage truck approaching the intersection. Do you let her start across, or make her wait until the danger has passed?"

Bush is leaving the troops in harm's way, despite the fact that all the reasons for going to war in Iraq have been false. Bush is letting his Grandmother cross the road in front of the bus and garbage truck.

9. I am going to make a completely unbiased statement
He aged because everyone who holds that office ages by eons by the time they leave. Go look at picture of Lyndon Johnson. Go look at pictures of any of them from the time they start until they leave.

OK...enough unbiased. He also looks older because EVIL ages you....

throw up on him?

:puke: :puke: :puke:

I wonder if he noticed how much Clinton aged in office? Bet he wouldn't say Clinton aged because he cared too much.

Truth is it's a very demanding job, not to mention that people in their fifties and sixties often age considerably in eight years.

15. Yes -- good for you! Your co-worker's comment defies sanity.
On that note, I saw a "Bush/Cheney 2004" sticker on the FDR Drive today -- (I'm in Manhattan). The odd thing is that the car was a hybrid. Glancing in the driver's seat, I saw a progressive professor type -- I wonder if someone slapped that sticker on his car and he has no idea!

21. He cares too much...
...that his crimes might be brought into the light. He does indeed live under a heavy burden, it's called the crushing weight of guilt for actions unbecoming a member of the human species, and fear that he will one day be called out on his criminal acts before he has a chance to die with the most toys.
