RNC fires all 65 phone solicitors

"The Republican National Committee, hit by a grass-roots donors' rebellion over President Bush's immigration policy, has fired all 65 of its telephone solicitors, Ralph Z. Hallow will report Friday in The Washington Times.

Faced with an estimated 40 percent fall-off in small-donor contributions and aging phone-bank equipment that the RNC said would cost too much to update, Anne Hathaway, the committee's chief of staff, summoned the solicitations staff last week and told them they were out of work, effective immediately, the fired staffers told The Times.
The national committee yesterday confirmed the firings that took place more than a week ago, but denied that the move was motivated by declining donor response to phone solicitations.

I saw a graphic made by freepers with Bush on a bill of currency $0 looking a bit Mexican and a serial number made up of numbers to look like the word ILLEGAL above Bush's picture they show an ostrich with its head in the sand with Mexican people rushing across the border. The point: People send this $0 bill to protest the Republiklan party not dealing with the immigration situation.

Apparently the RNC might have received a lot of these LOL.

I don't see it. These folks aren't pissed because they have suddenly realized what are horrible president Bush is. They're pissed because he wasn't as bigoted as they had hoped. As far as I'm concerned they can stay out of the voting process all together.

Most Democrats aren't for gay marriage now.

I'm talking about regular working people, going about their business, getting fucked exactly the way Democrats always say Republicans fuck the little guy. You think a number of them won't see the light?
