the ad that sent freepers into a tizzy? right after the carrier landing, they followed janeane arounf wanting to present her with an 'eat crow' award for being so "wrong."
4 years later, nearly 3,500 solders dead and hundreds of thousands of iraqis lost-she was right.

yet the media still refers to this prescient position as far left and anyone who's alligned with it is considered an extremist and, like scott ritter and janeane, never appears on corporate TV

Nobody who was right gets to appear on corporate TV. But then nobody who was right gets to be considered a serious candidate even by most DUers. Only the people who go along with the big decisions count, regardless of whether they were right or wrong, that's always been the way. They call it "experience". And hundreds of thousands die. But "we think the price is worth it", because experience is so important - more important than being competent to go on accumulating it.
