Anybody watching Book TV?
Victor Gold (Author of "Invasion ofthe Party Snatchers") is just tearing Cheney and * to pieces in a speech at the Cato Institute. I just looooove listening to old conservatives trash the neocons! ( Lord... never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd look back wistfully at the likes of Barry Goldwater.) Ok, there's a little Dem bashing..he is a conservative after all.. but MAN is he skewering this administration. Talked about * being weak, all show, no substance, talked about his photo op in New Orleans after Katrina... funny stuff! Talking about the 'everyday corruption..Abramoff was nothing..it's every day..talked about the attorney firings.. wow. he he!

A man asked a question and referred to Gold saying Cheney is paranoid.:)

I'm lovin' this guy!

There's a political fear factor...the repuke stepford candidates in the debate...Ron Paul is the ONLY one who made sense!

3. Yes, watching conservatives trash Bush is fun, but...

I just read this comment in James Wolcott's blog refering to this very subject. He's right, I fear.

We know what conservatives will do. They'll twine themselves around some other salvation figure--Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson--and convince themselves that they are trailblazers along the One True Way and then feel betrayed all over again when their appointed god turns out to be a passenger in Corporate America's hip pocket just like all the other fallen messiahs.
