Newsweek's portrayal of Condi the diplomat clashes with reality

The Lady and the Veep: Condoleezza Rice has steered the administration back toward diplomacy, but she's still being harried by hard-liners.

"Rice rolled her eyes, turned to US reporters and silently mouthed, 'Don't hold your breath.'"

Cantbeliever Rice has been upholding the WH's position of criticizing Democrats for engaging in diplomacy with Syria and Iran and rejecting talks:

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice soundly rejected any talks with Syria and Iran in an interview with The Washington Post, saying any "compensation" they demand would be too high and that they should act on their own if they want stability in Iraq.

The media is busy giving Cantbeliever a makeover by contrasting her to Cheney. The reality is she is incompetent and he is an evil warmonger.
