Put two and two together, and you get a pretty good picture as to why no one followed up on those calls to the White House Office of Political Affairs, made by individuals convicted in the NH phone jamming case.

I think they did something similar to what the immediate replacement for J Edgar Hoover did for Watergate, he misdirected the investigation of Watergate and stalled it. If it hadn't been for Mark Felt, we probably wouldn't have found out about Watergate and all of the details and connections to the President and high campaign officials.

Maybe we just don't have a deep throat?

Here's more on the NH Phone jamming scandal, if you don't remember much about it:

1. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of "Mark Felts"...
...out there.

My theory is that this administration is very skilled at
threats and highly-sophisticated blackmail.

Everyone on the inside knows that BushCo is a crime syndicate.
They're thugs.

The lack of Deep Throats is due to FEAR---fear of death, exposure
or loss of power. Most of those in power (or in the know) in DC
fit into those three categories. That's why nothing is ever done
about the corruption, cronyism and corporate takeover of our government.
That's why the Iraq war lingers on. That's why Junior is allowed
to convert our democracy into a dictatorship with very little quibbling
from the Dems.

They're all in on the joke that's really on all of us.

They're all "Mark Felts"...without the courage, morals, decency or
conscious and patriotism.

3. I don't know, the post below explains my thinking on this.
I think they're operating these criminal conspiracies like al-Qaeda does, on a need to know basis. That way when someone gets caught, they can spill the beans on the other activities and things look like they're isolated events, but those phone calls to the White House Office of Political Affairs connect this and more recent revelation about voter fraud investigations and in general caging place it in context and make it look like that office was involved in some damn dirty activities.

2. The 2002 NH phone jamming plot shows a continuous pattern of electoral crime.
Edited on Sun Jun-03-07 01:09 PM by originalpckelly
I allege that as early as, but possibly earlier than 2002, the RNC and the White House Office of Political Affairs (from hereon "conspirators") engaged in widespread crime designed to influence the outcome of elections all across America to maintain political supremacy.

Acting like other criminal conspiracies, such as drug smugglers and terrorists like al-Qaeda, the conspirators kept the individuals conducting criminal activities on their behalf, out of the know. These operations on a "need to know" basis allowed many individuals who would never approve of their activity if they knew its real intent, to commit electoral crimes.

In New Hampshire, the lower level individuals at the state Republican party and at Mylo Enterprises had no idea that their activities were criminal, and they had no idea how much a part of other activities they were. James Tobin, did however, and one will find that the RNC paid more than a million dollars on his legal expenses. I allege this was primarily due to his knowledge of other criminal activities in the New England area, as well as his knowledge of phone conversations involving members of the White House Office of Political Affairs. This knowledge would be damaging enough to the reputation of the President, that he might not have won re-election in 2004 had they been openly known. To this date only allegations can be presented as to what was discussed on those telephone calls placed to the White House Office of Political Affairs, but considering the calls' close proximity in time to other calls to individuals involved in the NH phone jamming plot, the conclusion they are somehow related to that plot is not altogether unreasonable.

In light of recent developments, primarily related to the areas of caging and supposed voter fraud investigations pursued by the FBI and the pressure on US Attorneys to prosecute them, the NH phone jamming takes a whole new context. It is becoming more and more apparent with every new revelation that the White House Office of Political Affairs and the RNC were involved in some highly troubling, undemocratic, and un-American activities, that taken individually seem unrelated, but pieced together form that picture.

5. Well of course, but that's when they first got caught red-handed...
in the process of doing it. One can only wonder how far this shit went, but wasn't investigated because the DOJ had become a political organization.
