KAKISTOCRACY: "Government by the least qualified or most unprincipled citizens."

This is a delicious word, which I first heard the other day by a teenager on TV competing in the National Spelling Bee. She called it one of her favorite words, calling it "Government by the worst people possible." I have to think she was referring to Bushco. Doesn't it ever describe the evil, moronic, clowns running the Executive Branch (and trying to run everything else)? I know the word comes from the Greek language, meaning "the worst," but it could have come as well from the slang KA-KA or CA-CA, meaning "really stinky." But doesn't that just fit Bushco perfectly? Let's spread the word and have some fun with this to lighten up an otherwise serious topic--what's happening to our country.

As in military rule.

Sometimes I think we're an oligarchy, sometimes a patriarchy, sometimes a theocracy, sometimes an aristocracy, sometimes a kakistocracy, and usually ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Most of all, though, we're now a KLEPTOCRACY. And that's no laughing matter.
