Some ass hat went off on John Kerry for trying to follow through with his campaign ideas after the 2004 election debacle. The commentor was basically giving him the "we tried to elect you, you lost, now you're not worthy of our time anymore so just shut up and go away" treatment. It just pissed me off that NPR would give shuch a politically uninformed ass hat air time - but then again, they let Bill Kristol claim that there was no Iraq Civil war two weeks later. :eyes:

Ed Schultz said Thompson tends to be lazy, as evidenced by his lackluster performance as a Senator. A grueling Presidential campaign may not be what this guy wants to endure, especially considering that he has lymphoma.

Yet, he's being touted as the next coming of Reagan for the GOP. It has got to be hard to resist the calls of the faithful with lots money to be the President. But, then, one has to do that nitty gritty, meet the people and say nothing too stupid campaign stuff. Day in, day out for months and months.
