Fancy way of saying "Don't vote for these losers vote for who we tell you to like"

I thought this was a democratic political system, not American Idol.

1. Its not even American Idol.
If it were we would win, it is more of a appointed theocracy. One were the dictator is appointed by the media because he will keep the trrrrrsts over there. Fuck the MSM.

2. Are they not treating it like the Sweet 16 brackets? As if the decision about who governs is
on the same level as a college basketball game.

Welcome to DU. :toast:

4. Yep....fighting the media is a full time job!
And to think that the whole point was that it was the media who would fight FOR us!

I'll be glad when these candidates start talking about the Corporate media monopolies and how they need to be broken up!.....like AL Gore and Wes Clark who are not running have!

5. Or what about the Congress?
They seem to be more able to do this than Gore speaking out after 8 years or Clark who is now a FOX NEWS Analyst.

6. Write them a letter!
I know I did.

And in reference to Clark on Fox News, that doesn't stop him from talking about the state of the media....just cause he ain't all about preaching to the Choir (since that's the easy thing to do).

WESLEY CLARK SLAMS MEDIA CONSOLIDATION
"I don't think it is in the American public interest to further consolidate the media." Answering this reporter's question, the candidate said media consolidation "is damaging to putting out diverse opinions and fostering public dialogue. ... We need to distribute the ownership in media. We need to have the fairness in broadcasting rules put back in place."
