43. yep, overpriced worthless aquarium gravel
Mall jewelry is total crap....trust me.

All that cubic carbon they sell (with black spots in it, since it's almost a lump of coal) should die and be brought back as part of a grinding wheel.

Go into a mall store and ask them if they have a D-Flawless diamond you can look at. They will look at you like you are nuts, and won't know what you are talking about.

I worked in a mall jewelry store and the idiot managers did NOT KNOW what a TEN POWER LOUPE was!!!!
I took a GIA Diamond Grading course, and that's what you look at them with, since it's hard to carry a large microscope around under your arm. They are idiots!!!

60. Reminds me of a book I once read on children's language acquisition
Young children usually don't use the passive form of verbs spontaneously, when the active form could be used; but the author described a 5-or 6-year-old, who said "My sister was cut by my scissors" and pointed out that the child might have felt particularly motivated to use the passive form in that case!

'Quality' as an adjective

'Managing change' (for those who jump through Blair's managerial hoops) and 'resisting change' (for those naughty people who don't)

'Targets'

"Protecting freedom" when referring to an action that infringes freedom (warrantless wiretaps, imprisonment without trial, etc.)
