You know, Mr. Vice President Dick Cheney, I did offer some advice about how to handle your gay daughter and her sweet little young'un, and about how I wished you well regarding this addition to your family. That stands. I want you and your lovely Wishnik-troll looking wife to actively support and publically show love to the daughter whose very existance vexes a narrow but important swath of, should I call them...your base? I admire your service to this country in a great many public positions, probably none of which you were qualified for and all of which went on your resume, which ultimately led to your informing Trustifarian numero uno, our de(no typo)-loved El Presidente in charge of catapulting the propagada, the Current War-Honcho-In-Chief, Jorge Arbusto, that you were the right man to be Vice President, after all.

You got the Vice part right.

Here's my familial advice. Note that I am not Dr. Phil. I love Dr. Phil, after all. He says so frequently to families in crisis exactly the things I would want to say, only so much more considered and diplomatically. If I was president, I think I'd make Dr. Phil some kind of cabinet member in charge of families--he's that damn good. But here is what I recommend to you:

Please take a page from Dan Bartlett and Andy Card and at one time, Karen Hughes' book, and spend some more time with your family. Your dear little Lizzie is overburdened with her youngin's and knows shit about the Middle East--her alledged area of expertise.
