Mercenaries do intel work for corporations & others--does our government watch watchers?

corporations are probably watching some pols and agencies.

It would would be a good use of intel resources to watch some of these corporations that are bigger than countries and make sure they aren't pushing us toward wars and military interventions for profit, or treaties that harm the standard of living here and abroad.

Given all the defections from the CIA during the Bush years, there would probably be some enthusiasm for being on the side of the angels for a change instead of helping trust fund babies crush the life out of Third World countries.

It would also be nice if they did a coup in the Cayman Islands and installed a government that is cooperative in the war on money laundering and tax shelters.
