Poll question: The ultimate question of divided loyalties: if it was Dean v. Gore for the nomination in '08
Edited on Tue Jun-05-07 01:23 AM by Heaven and Earth
who would you support?

on edit: to make things perfectly clear, this is just a fun hypothetical. Dean was the old netroots favorite and Gore is the new favorite, that's why I used the "divided loyalties" frame.

4. *shrug* Didn't really have a reason.
I was thinking of interesting random match-ups.

You don't have to vote if you don't like polls that have no point.

5. One thing's for sure...
For once, we'd see what politics can be like when two opponents respect each other and know how to behave like grown-ups.

Nothing against Dean at all. I just think Gore would be the better President.

8. The netroots old favorite v. the netroots new favorite.
Maybe I should have changed it to give the winner of the primary a guaranteed win in the general election.

17. Why did you phrase it as "divided loyalties"?
I don't understand that. Could you explain? Dean is chairman, so he can't run as that was the deal.

21. I love both of them
But I think Gore would make a better president for a variety of reasons.

Dean would have been good running against Bush, but Dean's a fighter and he's terrific as head of the DNC.

Much as I hate to say it, we need a uniter in '08 to pull together the non-loony 70% of America, and I think Gore could go that much better than Howard could.

But I *still* am rocking the Dean sticker on the car! :D
