Anyone catch NPR's "All Things Considered"? Thursday they read
from letters and emails about their stories during the week. The listeners must really be fed up with NPR's lack of effort. NPR couldn't find one positive response to Juan Williams' Bush interview. You have to hear it to believe it! And as a bonus, they rip on Rush Limbaugh, too!

Check it out: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7120267

2. I imagine I would really like Juan Williams personally but he is
the crappiest interviewer I've heard in a long time.

A year or so ago he attempted to interview Dick Cheney and Cheney bulldozed him.

'Listened to Williams' interview of Dubya and was reminded that he just doesn't know how to do it. His questions are wiffle balls and he doesn't bother with the followup. He let Dubya dance on his face.

3. I was amazed that the listeners really teed off on Williams, even more
amazed that NPR read them. Not one was positive. Consider that they only broadcast the most tame of their LTTE's.

5. Hi, mediaman007. I have a feeling you're right.
I'm glad listeners laid into that interview.

Williams' writing is good and his scholarship is careful in those books. But NPR needs to send somebody else to do political interviews.

4. I just heard about this
from my mom - she listens to NPR quite a bit, and she said she was surprised at the negative responses, too. Thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out later (when I'm not supposed to be doing loads of reading). ;)
