One day at the Zoo
So one day we were at the Zoo. And we were looking at the Rhino exhibit. The keepers had given the Rhino a rather large medicine ball that it liked to bump around. I noticed that it was about the same color as the Rhino. So in jest I said "Hey, look at the Rhino egg!" I said this loud enough to be heard by others.

Of course a few kids in the immediate area heard this and quickly dashed over to see the Rhino egg. They began shouting to their parents to come see the Rhino egg as they went. This of course was heard by other kids who immediately started to run to see the Rhino egg. And then the organic effect kicked in. Soon there was a rather large mob of children straining to see the Rhino egg and countless parents trying to explain that Rhino's don't lay eggs.

Somehow this scenario seems familiar.
