Employee fired for telling soldier they should pull out of Iraq
Discount-Mats.com employee in West Allis Wisconsin was contacted by a soldier who wanted to know if they could ship to Iraq. The employee wrote that they couldn't and added they should pull out of Iraq.

The owner, of middle eastern descent, was interviewed on the news and states the employee was fired. He apologized while the "news" played a sample of the harrassing calls he is getting at home like this gem:

"you terrorist-loving jihad mutherfucker (barely bleeped out) this is America you sonofabitch (barely bleeped) you get the fuck (barely bleeped out) out of this country."

The owner said they "support the troops."

1. Wait, so the owner fires an employee for airing what is characterized as a leftwing "cut-and-run"...
...position and he gets bombarded by rightwing hate-mongers? That must have been a painfully unpleasant mental paradox for the Freepers to deal with: Support a "raghead" for firing a "cut-and-run traitor" or support the "cut-and-run traitor" against his "raghead" former employer. I imagine at least a few heads exploded in the process...

2. Actually, I think I get the Freeper thought-process on this now...
Edited on Tue Jan-23-07 06:51 AM by DRoseDARs
The domain is registered to one Faisal Khetani, so by Freeper logic this automatically means he personally read the soldier's email inquiry, fired off the rude email in question (Snopes confirmed with the serviceman that received it) and probably killed US troops and baby kittens in the process. Freeperland has a thread (Google it yourself) that shows the domain registration info with Faisal's name bolded to make sure that even the densest Freeper will know to automatically hate this guy.

What sad, small people they are.
