They were both quite happy to lie and keep lying instead of raising a stink (until it became convenient, in Powell's case). There's no difference between them and the rest of the administration. They're all moral cowards and criminals.

were and are willing tools of the neocon push for war. Powell payed a heavy price, the good chance of being the first black president, but the price isn't near enough for the death and destruction he sold his soul for.

Both are very smart and well-educated, and Powell had already been around long enough to know how things work.

Neither is a victim. They're both willing sell-outs. Opportunists. Mercenaries. And without any sense of shame. (Especially My-Lai-Coverup Powell.)
