The shadow is interesting. It looks like the shadow profile of Bush as he is now.

I thought someone might want to add this to her or his collection.

1. The difference is...
...that a three-year-old being a three-year-old is cute. An adult acting like a three-year-old, especially when said adult is the leader of one of the most powerful countries in the world...well, that's just scary. :scared: Thanks for posting this.

2. The bushlibrary.tamu.edu site has some interesting photos
http://bushlibrary.tamu.edu/photos/gwbphotos.php

I don't think we're supporting Republicans or the Bush clan by visiting. I find it fascinating.

3. It reminds me of an episode in the original Star Trek
where they encounter a giant being who is all-powerful, totally frivolous and unreasonable. At the end we find out it's a child.

Balok's projected image...

...and the real Balok.

32. did you know the actor who played Balok
is Ron Howard's little brother?

check out The Squire of Gothos.

He's a grown man, trapped in body of a man but with the mind of a child, all ego and unchecked power (only his parents could keep him in line).

33. Yeah — Clint
Did a whole buncha teevee and minor-league movie stuff. Brudda Ron stuck him in "The Paper" as the reporter who's always asking, "What's another word for..."

I'll have to get some ST from Netflix. There're a lotta eps I haven't seen in 20, 30 years.

I'm thinking maybe Splinters threw him and he never got over it.

6. There is photo of him on a live (I think) horse

I really wish they would pose him on a Pony at the ranch. He really needs to back up that cowboy act with something other than the belt buckle and POTUS boots.

What ever happened to that little boy? What did Pappy and Babs do to him that he lost his ability to have a genuine smile?

As someone slightly older who also had such photos taken, I recall several such stuffed ponies (yes, even with the ears and pose) at photo concessions, particularly in tourist areas. There were backdrops and props almost exactly like that. If we look at where his hands are and how the reins are set, it's pretty clear there's no "horsemanship" at all in that photo.

Indeed, I'd say it's a fake as this one ...

George W. Bush on a bucking broncho at Knott's Berry Farms, California.
Spring 1950

What's interesting to me is that I had my picture taken on this exact same "bronco" about a year later, in 1951, when I was 8.

15. It is so damned tragic that this beautiful child turned into the monster he is today. This was
before his sister died, before his parents started to ignore him when Jebby was born. So damned sad.

24. I had a similar reaction, wondering how that little boy would've turned out if...
...he'd been raised by another family. That's the thing with photos of people who've turned out badly as small children -- their former innocence tugs at your heart.

to get others to point the guns for you. To stay in the AC and ignore the carnage.

And to walk like he has an invisible watermelons under each arm.
