What should bush do to raise his poll numbers?
Edited on Mon Jan-22-07 09:44 PM by cynatnite
He's got a STFU speech tomorrow night. My thinking is he might raise it a few more points by turning around, look at Dickless and say 'You're fired'. Then look at Nancy and say 'your turn'.

Yeah, wishful thinking, but when I know he's about to steal the next 24 hour news cycle, I dream.

edited for not paying attention to what I was typing.

6. Resign and take Dickless with him!
There's no way he's going to get any approval with any of his harebrained ideas. Or whoever's ideas they really are...

Is STFU short for Shut the f u speech or for State of the f'ing Union address? LOL

that fake Al Qaeda-in-Iraq story that NBC debunked -- the one where Al Qaeda is planning attacks on the U.S. from Iraq -- the one where Bush was exactly right about fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here. Yeah, that sounds about right.

9. That scenario would be a relief to all Americans.
Yet, it is a cop out. He might say that the war on terror has been a catastrophic success and will end within the week. The great coward and cheerleader would be very popular then.

18. He'll steal the 24-hour news cycle, all right...
...and the next 24 hours will be saturated with damaging, laugh-riot extraordinare
comedy of epic proportions---as everyone guffaws at Jokey McMoronton.

Word has it that he's goin domestic, baby! He's going to talk about "student loans"
and "minimum wage" and "health care".

Come on people---ride the wave of absurdity--as the pResident attempts to hit
the shoreline with his new, domestic, liberal agenda! The war sucks, so he's going
domestic, baby!

The liberals and Independents won't buy it--and the conservatives will HATE him
for turning in his terrorist-fearmongering schtick for a nice chat about affordable
college education for the youngsters.

This is going to be so much fun---like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride of Political Irony!
Strap on yer seat belts. Hands inside the ride as we watch Junior implode and
his poll numbers sink into the teens!

Whooooo hoooooooo!

Seriously. This is going to be highly entertaining.

Seeing Bush on the inside of the Hague would be grand but I'd settle for President Pelosi immediately pulling our troops out of Iraq.

26. Get in a time machine
and go back to 2000. He should surround himself with people who actually care about the future of America rather than political hacks who put party loyalty above all. Decide not to go to war in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Basically the opposite of what he's done his entire presidential career.
