Thanks For Thoughts On Ben & An Update About What's Happened To P & Me

Thank you so much for all the good thoughts and love. Peyton and I are still recovering from the total meltdown Pey's Dad & my ex partner had last fall (actually it has been years in the making). When I say meltdown I mean a total crumbling of a narcissistic anti social abusive shitdustbag, and he took us on his roller coaster ride into the depths of hell until I finally contacted my family and asked them to save us.

That was such a hard thing to do because my family is a very hyper critical bunch of perfectionists and I was expecting the "We told you so" or the "Why did you stay with the ass-clown so long?" you know the usual family clap trap. Well surprise, surprise, surprise, they just said "Whatever you need and however long it takes please come home and let us love you two. We understand how badly he hurt you both."

I think Ben's near death and the sudden passing of my sister last July at 48 years of age just broke all the old patterns, and opened their hearts. It is a miracle I tell you.

Peyton and I are getting our footing here in Northern CA, we are blessed to live in Santa Rosa as it is a beautiful city, and the job situation is coming slowly but I have a great possibility with the county and my interview is next week. I ranked #1 on the aptitude test for the position so I am the big dog on the list. Keep good thoughts on this!

I am hoping to get my computer set up next week right now P and I hang out at the library. We have discovered the joys of shopping at thrift stores as well. I think I am buying the old shit I've donated over the past few decades! LOL!

We are healthy and hanging on and in. Love and hugs to everyone who has kept us in their hearts during our journey into and now OUT of the Heart Of Darkness. We love our DU family so very much. Shit, crying again.

He is going back to Wisconsin where his girlfriend lives. Her name is Danny and she was the girlfriend of Ben's best friend who was killed in Iraq in Feb 2006, the met at the funeral and have been together ever since. Hope your Ben is well!

Water sprite is thriving and swimming up a storm! I can't do much for anybody else these days the idiot who high jacked our lives made sure to break everything including the bank, it is a humbling and painful reality.

But hey I'm an Irish Catholic chick and I can survive damn near ANYTHING. Still some days the tears just fly and I let myself cry. Hell I'm crying right now in the library.

I will write a book about it I am going to call it "The Big K A Love Strikeout." Baseball brought us together as luck would have it and his last name begins with a K so it just feels right.
