"I Usually Don't Pick Somebody During The Primary But.. If Al Gore Gets In The Race I'm Picking Him"

"so i said never pick somebody in the primary, just go with the nominee; wait till the primaries are over and then fall in line and get this person elected because any democrat is better than any republican any day.

"so i usually don't pick somebody during the primary. but i will say this: if al gore gets in the race? i'm picking him. i'll pick him this afternoon if he announces, i'll pick him tomorrow night--whenever he wants to announce--i'm picking him. america needs him. and...i love him."

(i'm with ya randi! couldn't agree more.)

from randi's show wednesday june 13, 2007
she explains why she doesn't want to pick someone in the primary and only back one individual on her show.

5. My wife, generally apolitical, is definitely on board with Gore.
She wants him to run and would love to go out and vote for him.

And it wasn't even MY influence that brought her to that point. I never really mentioned him until she brought him up. His environmentalism plays well with her pagan values.

6. not picking a candidate
and then doing nothing but sling arrows from the sidelines because you don't like what the candidate represents.

Makes on friggin' sense to me.

9. Al Gore is still my president
I voted for him, and the election went to the other guy, and we have been ruled by the "Other Guy" ever since. Now, I find out
that Bush did not carry the 04 election with the rural vote. His rural vote went down by 2 million in 04. He won by carrying the
large urban centers-the democratic strongholds. Sure, I got a bridge to sell ya. By the Way, I went to the DU link for Act Blue
and donated to Draft Gore, every little bit helps.

Let me just add that I live in Baltimore, a large urban center, and when I tried to vote for Kerry, I pressed the plastic square
5 times and GWB lit up and on the 6th try the square next to Kerry lit up and stayed lit. It happened to me folks, and I
swore an affadavit to this and sent it to the Maryland BOE.

11. ME, I'm liking Gore, way more than ever.
IMHO if he runs, he wins it all. period. He maybe unbeatable, I think Gore will likely bring us a large majority in the senate and and a larger majority in the house come 2008.

14. I have seen An Inconvient Truth, five stars
Assault on Reason is very interesting indeed, I couldn't help thinking when I was reading it, if these facts are widely known
inside the beltway, why has there been no impeachment?

13. Yes, I think so too
and I think that he will pull us back to a functioning democracy instead of whatever aberration we are in now.
