Wesley Clark replaced on Fox News by............. Harold Ford Jr.
Fox News Channel is parting ways with Gen. Wesley Clark after two years of being an FNC contributor. A Fox source told the Politico that Clark was ditched in favor of new guest contributor Harold Ford, because Fox viewers “tell us they prefer looking at Ford to Clark.” Clark will now be joining MSNBC as a military analyst.

To think: he used to be known as General Hot

He may be a former NATO Supreme Allied Commander-turned-'04 Dem Presidential Contender, but Gen. Wesley Clark can't compete with Harold Ford, Jr.

Fox News Channel is parting ways with Clark after two years of being an FNC contributor. Coincidentally, FNC signed the young and attractive Ford as a network contributor a few months ago. (Clark at one point even stumped for Ford.)

1. because Fox viewers “tell us they prefer looking at Ford to Clark."
Uh, more like they like HEARING Ford vs. Clark. Clark tells the truth and this pisses off those with minimal life-sustaining brain cell counts.

7. When does the Right Wing not spin to protect the Right Wing?
And why should anyone believe their self serving version of reality? We are talking about a right leaning web site here trying to make lemonaid out of the lemon they were left with. Clark had a June to June contract with FOX, and he preferred going with MSNBC, who wanted him to join their lineup, after his FOX contract was up. Those are the facts, and they all make sense to me.

2. The way I heard it was Clark left Fox on his terms not the other way around
But then again we all know how trustworthy Fox News is..Colmes has found a Democrat that is even less of one than he is to join him on enemy territory.

3. That's probably true
Fox, of course, has to try to get out on the angle like they are in control.

I think Fox has served Wes's purposes-he is now fully introduced to their audience. Mission accomplished. :patriot: People like Fox news don't understand that everyone esle could see that they were being used.

9. I'm tired of seeing the SONS of notable individuals, personally.
If they can accomplish something on their own, fine- but we've being deluged with pampered daddy's boys over the last few years. People who know nothing but ideology, and try to distinguish themselves from their fathers by being more extreme.

GW Bush, Michael Powell, Tucker Carlson, William Kristol... it seems like half the people in the neoconservative camp are trust fund ideologues.

I don't know anything about Harold Ford, Jr.- but I'm just very weary of the aristocratic tones that have been ringing in our culture in recent years.
