FOX Says Sources Told Them-Cheney was working like crazy to get Bush to pardon good old Scooter
Today both CNN and MSNBC said that Cheney and Bush weren’t speaking about a pardon at this time soon after Judge Walton ruled Libby has to serve his time in jail during the appeal process. However, FOX News said that sources told them Cheney was working like crazy to get Bush to pardon good old Scooter.

6. Even if it is, it's irrelevant. Father Bush pardoned several folks behind Iran-Contra
And did Father Bush pay a dear price for essentially obstructing justice? No. The Dem leadership and Repubs at the time didn't think it was a battle worth fighting.

Vincardog, IANAL, but, it would add 2 charges to those Cheney will hopefully some day face: Obstruction of, and conspiracy to obstruct, justice. The conspiracy charge could stick whether or not the pardon is issued.
