A new flash game from the BBC entitled Climate Challenge allows you to become the President of Europe with the goal of affecting greenhouse gas reduction in 100 years. The game plays well and the tutorial is very helpful in getting one started in your role as President. Give this game a try if you'd like to get a basic understanding of the complexities for realistic emissions control in the new century. Kudos to the BBC for hosting this game.

BTW, my Presidency was a total failure... I bankrupted the continent and had Bush-like polling numbers thanks to massive starvation and poor water availability and supply. I'm sure you could do much better.
