Sheesh it's not even summer yet and look what is happening!

Kansas City violates federal Clean Air Act

Kansas City appears to have violated the federal Clean Air Act, according to Weather Or Not, an air quality consultant for the Mid-America Regional Council.

Sara Croke, president of Weather Or Not, said readings of ozone concentrations at the Rocky Creek monitor in the Northland had violated the federal law about 5 p.m. today.

Those numbers still have to be quality assured.

A violation means the area will spend millions of dollars correcting the pollution problem.
