Security bounces O'Reilly from the Mets clubhouse! (A day after KO is welcomed.)

No spin zone - Mets clubhouse



While the media was crowding into the visitors locker room, outnumbering the players, one member of the media strolled in -- and was promptly turned away.

Bill O'Reilly, the Fox News screaming head, tried to enter the Mets' clubhouse, but was tossed out by security personnel -- noting that he did not have the proper credential to have clubhouse access. O'Reilly left, mumbling, "You don't have to escort us out. We're going."

What would have really fired up the combustible talk show host would have been if he had been at the stadium a day earlier when Keith Olbermann, his political counterpart and verbal sparring partner, who is welcomed openly into the clubhouse roamed around, chatting with Omar Minaya....



Mets' PR honcho Jay Horwitz, who leans openly to Olbermann's political left, immediately insisted he had nothing to do with the ousting of O'Reilly -- but don't expect Horwitz to show up on Olbermann's "Worst Person in the World," list. He's in good graces now.

After reading some excerpts from his novel, I'm not surprized he got the boot just on morals alone. He is really a pervert, and he pretendes to speak from such high moral ground. I long for the day when he clutches his chest like Falwell, and is faced with what he has done. But ....they kicked him out bacause he suks. Game over.

most likely because he is known and respected, despite the fact that he is not technically "covering the game." As he once described it, there are all kinds of people who end up being allowed in there just because somebody with pull knows them, respects them, likes them, etc.

So it doesn't surprise me to learn that he was in the Mets' clubhouse the other day, whereas Billo was kicked out.

Do I think he's too big a guy to mention this small fact on his show?...um, actually, no. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if KO enjoyed a public gloat.
