The Bush administration seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel these days. I had the sense that this man did not have the faintest idea of what he was talking about or that he knew what he said was BS. I also thought that he looked frightened. Made me think that we are in worse trouble than even I think we are in.

I said that he looked like he had PTSD, inspired no confidence, (& these 4 words were the killers: ) The fellow looks goofy, speaks with hesitance and with mealy-mouthed words, withOUT any kind of confidence. Poor fellow has been stationed in all of the hellholes: Pakistan, Syria, Lebanon... He needs an R&R assignment of the kind given to Shrub-donors.


One high minded fellow claimed that we were being superficial in commenting on his looks and presence instead of sifting out the diplomatic doublespeak to get at the deep meaning of what he was saying.
