http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

Phone Numbers:

I wonder if they ever listen to the comments?

1. Many times. I have no idea what the effect is.
We're still in Iraq, corporations are still trying to take over the media, and every other thing I've commented on remains broken.

I did actually seem to have one person listen to me when I loudly said, "I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN and I have a right to this information!" (In that case, I was trying to find out who floated all the red herring names for Supreme Court nominees before they landed us with the dinosaurs that they did).

I wonder if it would be possible to contact the press office for the Vice President to get a comment on this bs about him not being in the executive branch.

3. I just sent an e-mail to the VP's address:
"Just what the hell is this BS about the Vice President's office not being a part of the executive branch?

I'm not stupid. I know the organization of the Executive Office of the President, and I know the "Office of the Vice President" is included in the EOP. I also know that the VP is the President of the Senate.

It would seem to me that this is a bunch of crap saying he's not subject to executive branch guidelines just because his office also has duties in the legislative branch.

If anything he should be subject to the guidelines of both legislative and the executive."

4. My brother calls all the time.
And the operators argue with him. He gets so mad he hangs up. They try to convince him bush is God.

6. I've called the White House four or five times.
The first was after B*sh's childish "Bring 'em on!" comment. I began by telling the operator I was so angry I could barely speak. I gave her my message as calmly as I could, then thanked her for her time. She was quiet and polite. Probably didn't want to jostle the hornet's nest.
