And there's this. That this a-hole spent his life plying the backwater bureaucratic positions, learning how to exercise POWER, learning how to let OTHERS TAKE CREDIT and the TITLES.

He had all the positions of semi-POWER, or actual REAL-power, until he finally TOOK THE POWER!!1

Think about it!!1 VICE-pResident!!1 AND he's DOING it!!1


What if it were some YOUNG (and healthy) a-hole ready to take command with ALL THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE to institute it ALL!!1

7. Honestly, I think you're right.
I really don't know how someone with his health under that kind of stress can still be alive. Either he's sporting bionic parts or he's made a pact with the devil. (or he is the devil - that's more likely, now that I think of it.)

15. What really chafes my shorts is this guy is just one year older than I am.
Which means I've had almost as much time as the son of a bitch to figure out ways to screw other people and there have been MANY opportunities to do it. I don't think it's hard to become an insanely wealthy or powerful person if one's willing to ignore basic humanitarian principles. I worked for such a guy...the father of my current Senator, and I COULD have actually become a player in that kind of game - my boss even told me on many occasions I ought to be "sitting in this chair" - if I'd had the correct mindset. (Screw everybody, that's the way to get ahead.) So I'm not rich but I'm not dead like that old bastard is.
