She's scheduled to testify to Congress next week. Will somebody please throw this bitch in jail where she belongs? And while they're at it, throw Rudy, GWB and Cheney there as well!!!

Former Environmental Protection Agency boss Christie Whitman says she urged Ground Zero workers to wear respirators, but then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani blocked her efforts.

She also said city officials didn't want EPA workers wearing haz-mat suits because they "didn't want this image of a city falling apart."

In an interview scheduled to run the day before Whitman testifies in front of Congress on Monday, she told WNBC-TV she warned the city of the risks almost every day.

And she said she believes illnesses killing first responders can be blamed on the city's lack of action...

Yes, she should be the subject of thousands of lawsuits. Or one big class action lawsuit. But that would be in a perfect world.

They've ALL swallowed the kool-aid. The country knows better this time around. Even R's in KS have bolted the party; now Bloomberg is trying this tack. All the smart ones will bolt leaving the "hard core" of idiots, and the rest will disassociate themselves.

When you put down a woman for being disagreeable with that word, you're helping to create a culture where women in general are put down for being disagreeable.

She was held in contempt by a judge when she was head of the Dept of Interior which includes the Bureau of Indian Affairs, because of a judgment in a class action suit in which the BIA had not paid billions of dollars in mineral leases on Indian lands since the 1800s, which they had contracted to. The Court ordered the Bureau to pay those billions of dollars, I believe.

Don't know why her ass wasn't thrown in jail.
