O’Reilly and McCain on Preserving the "white, Christian, male power structure."
This is an old story, but I don't think enough people at the DU have seen it and it certainly didn't make its way into the press:

Bill O’Reilly and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) discuss immigration:

O’REILLY: But do you understand what the New York Times wants, and the far-left want? They want to break down the white, Christian, male power structure, which you’re a part, and so am I, and they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically break down the structure that we have. In that regard, Pat Buchanan is right. So I say you’ve got to cap with a number.

MCCAIN: In America today we’ve got a very strong economy and low unemployment, so we need addition farm workers, including by the way agriculture, but there may come a time where we have an economic downturn, and we don’t need so many.

O’REILLY: But in this bill, you guys have got to cap it. Because estimation is 12 million, there may be 20 . You don’t know, I don’t know. We’ve got to cap it.

MCCAIN: We do, we do. I agree with you.

Whenever someone asks you about a stupid process story on a Democratic candidate in the MSM, point this out, and point out it wasn't covered at all by the press.

1. Look....
I'm anti McCain and anti O'Reilly, but when everything is in context, McCain is agreeing with the caps, not the power structure. Just because you bold it and try to force the context doesn't make it true. It's no better than cutting and splicing video to force a point....

3. He failed to disagree with O'Reilly
the caps aren't mine, but O'Reilly said this and McCain didn't respond, he just soft of changed the subject. If someone said, the Republican Party is the Fascist Party and a Democrat changed the topic, and said a little later that they agreed with the person on that issue, it would be a story. He implicitly agrees with O'Reilly. Watch the video.

13. It's ok if O'Reilly says it...or McCain.
And they validated what Dean got blasted by his own party for saying.

You just never know.

14. Dean called it like it is, that was amazing that Democrats had a problem with what he said
Just stating the truth. When they say they are conservative, they also say they are for the status quo. Well, this is the status quo.

4. McCain could
have called Orally on the racist crap but didn't.

Personaly, I'd prefer a white Christian male like John Edwards or Chris Dodd in the White House over someone like Alan Keyes anyday.

Orally, once again, gets it all wrong. It's not the color, gender of religion of the people in power, it's their ideology.

6. These people are so amazing - the free market for everything
except this. There should be "caps" regardless of what the free market would dictate.

They are so for the free market when it comes to any other issue. Then suddenly they want it controlled. Apparently it can solve everything but this.

Plus they are so in favor of corporations on every other subject, too. Naturally, the corporations want the cheapest labor possible.

9. "I am opposed to socialism, and that includes corporate socialism."
This is the sound bite on free market rhetoric. They socialized corporate collapses in the "free market" a long time ago.

11. That isn't their problem, their problem is that non-whites will eventually outnumber whites and the
the nonreligious will eventually outnumber Christians. But they don't think this far ahead.
