The family was called to the Sheriffs office and they will have a news conference on at 6:00 ET.

5. I just caught a clip on an interview
with the mom and she believes Bobby Cutts (the father of her baby) had something to do with it. Apparently she (reminds me of Lacey's Mom) has been finding things out about Bobby that neither she nor her daughter new.

I suspect we will find out shortly

8. That kinda makes sense.
He confessed, told them where to find her, etc. I fear for the worst. I hate for this to turn out to be another statistic on women being beaten or killed by the father of their unborn baby.

A source close to the family of Bobby Cutts Jr. said the body was found earlier today.

on my way to work. I was upset and a bit sickened from the thump. Point being, I could never kill a living animal never mind a human

I still think about that, and also about the hamster I accidentally killed when I was a kid. We had a cage with a heavy hinged lid, and the hamster peeked over the edge just as I was dropping the top. Instant death. I was horrified.

A spouse? A boyfriend? A father? A cop? I have no idea how to react. This shakes the purported family right down to its roots. This is like Scott Peterson all over again. Or the Smith woman who rolled her two boys into a lake... or the woman who drowned her five children in the bathtub.

It boggles the mind.

14. you would think they would learn that

1. they are the number one suspect
2. once the body is found and sometimes even if it isn't, forensic science proves they did it

Hate to say someone is guilty before even being tried or possible arrested, but didn't Bobby Cutts watch the Scott Peterson trial?

35. Exactly, I have been watching this everytime there is a report...
and he sent everyone through all of this turmoil. I don't know why he thought he was going to get away with it. I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, because I was hoping that it was him and that he wasn't that heartless to leave his son there alone, plus the fact of killing the mother and child.

13. Channel 19 here in Cleveland just reported that Bobby Cutts
broke down and apologized to his family for putting them through this and has confessed. He said Jessie was just lying there and stopped breathing. He panicked and called a girl he formerly dated to help him dispose of the body.

They are waiting for the 6pm news conference for confirmation.

he had his own key..probably the little boy was asleep..

She may have pressured him to be more of a dad or to leave his wife..who knows..

He probably smacked her and the during struggle as she tried to get away, he bludgeoned her to death..

I think the little boy told the cops that daddy was there..

She probably thought that if he did the pregnant lady in, he'd just as easily come after her.

I'm lucky because no one would ask me such a thing and 2. I'd immediately call the police.

37. Right now there is no indication that the story about a girlfriend
helping Cutts is even true. He is the only one who have been arrested on two counts of murder.
By the way, as a police officer, I think he would be trained in first aid and CPR.

I reported here earlier that she got a call from a friend of Cutts who said that Cutts confessed and apologized to his family for putting them through all this.

Cutts said that Jessie was lying there and her eyes rolled back in her head, she was dead (did not explain how she came to be lying there). Cutts then called a female friend that he used to date and asked her to help him dispose of Jessie's body.

Investigators reportedly found a body in Meyers Lake believed to be that of Jessie Marie Davis.

Davis was nine-months pregnant with a child believed to be Cutts' and had a 2-year-old by him. The 26-year-old was last seen June 13, and Cutts was among the last people known to have talked with her.

Sources said Cutts is in custody, and the Stark County Sheriff's Department has a press conference scheduled for 6 p.m. today.

Cutts, 30, has been a Canton police officer since 2001.

Body was found believed to be Jessie.

Bobby Cutts is under arrest and will be arraigned in court next week.

38. It appears to me viewing the removal of the body on Channel 19,

it is a very woodsy area down a winding dirt road that leads out to a two lane paved road. I do not see a lake.

The reporter says the body was found in Summit County in the Portage Lakes area. It was not found by the search teams so therefore he feels someone in Cutts family told the police where to find Jessie.

I am relieved that Jessie was found so her family knows the truth and will be able to bury her and her baby.

(The camera just panned on a hole in the ground, large enough for a body.)



Edit to correct: just shown tape of the recovery and it is a two lane paved road not a four lane.

of body. I do not think the body was found in the water, rather in a shallow grave.
