Meme: "If we don't fight them over there, we'll have to fight them over here."

Fine. Bring the troops home and fight them over here. Make THOSE bastards travel thousands of miles, try to establish supply lines and communications. Our troops can return home, sleep in their own beds. We don't need a billion dollars flowing through Halliburton to keep foreign bases running. And the American citizen can see WITH HIS OWN EYES just what the hell is going on.

Whenever Bush tries to scare us by using this damned meme, I want to immediately ask him if he fears we couldn't defend our country. Are we stretched so damned thin that there's no one left to defend their home? If so, bring home the troops!
