7. Not even in the ballpark.
Powell made one speech with obvious reluctance as the "good soldier," and opposed the Iraq invasion within the Administration behind closed doors all the way until he lost and the disaster was begun.

Cheney is beginning to look more and more like a modern day Martin Bormann.

11. Oh, I disagree.
Yes, Powell made just one speech. But that one speech (because of his stellar reputation) made believers out of many. If he had not made that speech there wouldn't have been the support for this war IMO. I think he was a major key to us going to Iraq. Just my opinion tho. :)

6. I would hope this is not a competition. ANY amount of death and destruction is unacceptable
but, having said that, Cheney wins.
