BUSH on BLAIR: "I’ve heard he’s been called Bush’s poodle. He’s bigger than that."
“We have different speaking styles, of course.

“He’s much more kind of lofty and eloquent than I am. I tend to be just pretty matter of fact.” Speaking at the White House, Mr Bush went on:

As for the pressure he’s been under at home over Iraq, I ask him about it, try to buck him up as a friend . . . ‘Are you doing OK?’ But the truth of the matter is each person carries their own burden.

I’ve heard he’s been called Bush’s poodle. He’s bigger than that. This is just background noise, a distraction from big things.

3. Most offensive comment: "...each person carries their own burden."
Really?! 'Cos it seems like there are over 3,000 soldiers who were killed carrying the burden of Bush's inability to pull his head out of his ass.

Same empty-headed, panting, vacant stare.

a tactic he uses often to keep people in line.

Blair will forever have Bush's "W" branded on his forehead - both literally and metaphorically.

Yes - those are actual photos.

13. The irony is delicious. It's been written about in the UK...
Edited on Wed Jun-27-07 12:53 PM by ReadTomPaine
"The cares of the world were visibly etched on his forehead in a recent picture which showed how his wrinkles had formed themselves in to the letter W.

Experts said it was a sign of an active frontalis, the forehead muscle, and one claimed it demonstrated "serious" levels of stress.

And others have joked that the W could be a sign of his ever-incresing <sp> closeness with US President George W Bush.

...

In the photograph the clear shape of the letter W can be seen stretching from the Prime Minister's eyebrows almost to his hairline."

16. There are 3 different sizes of poodle
A toy poodle is about 10 lbs and very small. A miniature poodle is about 40lbs and while bigger than a toy poodle, is definite small. A standard poodle is the tallest, and weighs the most. So it is always possible that Blair is a standard poodle, which is not a lap dog, instead of a miniature or toy poodle.

19. I thought this was an Onion article at first!
To George, Blair is just another sacrificial lamb to the Bush vision. Blair deserves it though, unlike the troops.
