Kucinich to Head Domestic Policy Subcommittee
The democratic controlled U.S. Congress recently elected 10th district Rep. Dennis Kucinich as chairman of the domestic policy subcommittee.

Kucinich's new position places him in a powerful role on Capitol Hill.

The domestic policy subcommittee's jurisdiction includes matters of labor, energy, housing and telecommunications among other responsibilities.

"We'll be going into issues that matter." said Kucinich, "Issues that deal with cost of electricity, gas, telephones, the oil industry."

The domestic policy subcommittee oversees the procedure of every government agency and department except defense and homeland security.

Kucinich says his new role will also benefit the northeast Ohio.

"All the questions that arise from Cleveland are now going to have the opportunity to be brought to a bigger forum.", said Kucinich.

2. He wants your opinion
I welcome your suggestions and ideas as to how we can make our government truly become a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

3. Free Kucinich bumper stickers
I'm giving these free until they're gone, to anyone who sends me (Daniel Geery, 1987 S. McClelland St., Salt Lake City, Utah, 84105), a self-addressed stamped envelope. (Donations NOT necessary, but they will be accepted and applied to larger purchases of bumper stickers.)

By making others aware of this candidate, through networking and the internet, and whatever other creative means we can think of, it is my hope that we will save a lot of time and energy and bypass much of the non-debates and political nonsense we're all too familiar with. Please request my free bumper sticker and help send others to the Kucinich website, so they can learn for themselves what this candidate has to offer.

4. I want to see him go after the drug czar. That's his bailiwick now.
And Kucinich, God bless him, is one of the harshest critics of the drug war.

5. Imagine how much money we could save
if we let all the people out of prison for victim-less crimes, like pot smokers. What a freaking joke- land of the free my ass!
