3. Yes.
Defeat her elsewhere.

Besides, Craig Ferguson picked the Colts in a close match, based on the team logos.

Since New Orleans didn't make it to the bowl, I don't give a damn who wins.

8. You know I look at it in exactly the opposite way.
I almost always pull for the team that beats my team to go all the way. After all, what is better, losing to the team that becomes champion or losing to the team that gets beaten by the champion?

At least if Chicago wins today you could theoretically still assert that you are better than Indiana (especially if, for example you had a close game against the ultimate champion where the new champion blew away the runner up in the championship game.

11. Why are you allowing this woman to have that much more control over your life?
If you want to root for the Colts, root for the Colts, no matter who or what else is also rooting for them. I find this kind of semtiment as foolish and counterproductive as basing team support on the political affiliations of various participants(you know, so and so for the Bears is a 'Pug, so and so for the Colts is a fundy). This is sports, entertainment, a chance for all of us to forget about the damn awful political mess that we're in right now. Bringing politics into the matter will just spoil it for you.

I also find that this sort of politization of other aspects of entertainment to be foolish too. Do I like Tom Cruise personally? No, I think that the man is an ego-maniacal control freak who has some serious issues about his height, sexuality and general sanity. That being said, it didn't prevent me from enjoying "Minority Report" immensely. Same with music. Why deprive myself the pleasure of music simply based on what somebody's politcal preferences are. It just doesn't make sense.

But hey, if you want to let Condi dictate who you root for, that's your decision. Just remember though, you are letting these assholes control one more aspect of your life.

12. Of course the Ponies will win
if Condi predicted it then the Cats Outta the Bag. When I heard that she gave her predictions I thought along the lines of our voting system, easy to rig. Throw a lot of money at who you want to win and wallah you will see lots of pretty yellow flags littering the field.

It doesn't matter how you play the game, it's in the hands of the referees.

I gave up on football years ago so I really don't have a Horse in the race.

My sister just called me from Virginia and said she thinks she and my BIL are the only 2 Bears fans in the state...except for my BIL's fellow workers at the PO where my he works. They are all hoping the Bears win just because they're the UNDERDOGS. I sure hope the "underdog" predictions make their way to Brian Urlacher....and I'm sure they have. :7

ANYWAY.....Bear Down Chicago Bears!

20. Well, I loved Peyton Manning until
I saw that he donated to shrub's primary re-election campaign in '04 (newsmeat.com), and is 100% repub. Since I don't really care who wins, I hope the Bears win, and yes, it's childish, but I don't care!

33. Manning is a republican political contributor.
Da Bears are a working class team from a Democratic town. Oh they will most likely lose unless Manning has another massive choke event, but might I suggest rooting for the underdog?
